Breakfast Blinchiki


One of my favorite foods in the whole wide world is a Ukrainian/Russian dish called blini, also affectionately known as blinchiki. Like the French crêpe, blinchiki can be served savory or sweet, but owing to my insatiable sweet tooth, I like mine doused in sweetened condensed milk. All bias aside, I think that this dessert is the perfect holiday breakfast indulgence. Paired with a steaming cup of tea, a plate of blinchiki is a most delectable way to offset the shivers on a winter morning.
